About Boron Nitride Ceramics
Hexagonal boron nitride (HBN) in its solid form is often referred to as “white graphite” because its microstructure is similar to graphite. However, unlike graphite, HBN is an excellent electrical insulator with a high oxidation temperature. It has high thermal conductivity and good resistance to thermal shock, and can be easily machined to almost any shape tolerance. After machining, it can be used without additional heat treatment or sintering operations.
Hexagonal boron nitride ceramics (HBN) can be used in the manufacture of crucibles for melting semiconductors and high-temperature containers for metallurgy, semiconductor heat dissipation and insulation parts, high-temperature bearings, thermocouple bushings, and glass-forming molds.
The preparation of diamond-type boron nitride is similar to the principle of transforming graphite into diamond, and graphite-type boron nitride (HBN) can be transformed into diamond-type boron nitride (CBN) at high temperature (1800℃) and high pressure (800Mpa).

Boron nitride, with the chemical formula BN and a chemical composition of 43.61 TP3T of boron and 56.41 TP3T of nitrogen, comes in four different variants: hexagonal boron nitride (HBN), rhombic boron nitride (RBN), cubic boron nitride (CBN), and fibrillated zincite boron nitride (WBN).

Pyrolytic boron nitride (PBN) ceramics are a type of boron nitride ceramics prepared by chemical vapor deposition through a high temperature pyrolysis reaction.
Hexagonal boron nitride HBN
Hexagonal Boron Nitride H-BN is white in color, chemically stable and resistant to most molten metal impregnation. It has good self-lubrication. It has low hardness and can be machined with an accuracy of 1/100mm.
